Toronto, ON – 2025-12-08 – MARA Technologies Inc. (MARA), part of the Invotek Group companies and a long-standing advanced manufacturing partner in Ontario, is proud to announce that it has been approved for funding through the Ontario Together Trade Fund (OTTF). This provincial program supports Ontario-based businesses that are navigating tariff-related challenges, strengthening domestic supply chains, and expanding their ability to serve interprovincial markets.
MARA’s co-General Managers, Tom Heinemann and Scott Tordoff, welcomed the news as a significant step forward for the company. The funding will help MARA accelerate key modernization efforts, enhance competitiveness, and continue to deliver high-precision, Canadian-made manufacturing solutions.
To acknowledge this achievement, the office of MPP Logan Kanapathi visited MARA’s Markham facility on Friday, November 21, at 10 a.m. The visit provided an opportunity to celebrate the contribution MARA is making to Ontario’s manufacturing sector and to highlight the provincial government’s ongoing commitment to supporting local companies facing evolving global trade pressures.
“The Ontario Together Trade Fund plays an important role in supporting Ontario manufacturers who are adapting to shifting tariff environments and aiming to grow across provincial borders,” said Tom Heinemann. “This investment enables us to continue building capacity, strengthening our resilience, and ensuring that more Canadian technologies are developed and built right here in Ontario.”
Scott Tordoff added, “We’re grateful for this support and for MPP Kanapathi’s recognition of our team. This funding will help MARA expand into new interprovincial markets and reinforce our long-standing commitment to high-quality, Canadian manufacturing.”
The OTTF focuses on helping Ontario businesses re-shore production, diversify supply chains, and make near-term investments that improve competitiveness. MARA’s approved project aligns directly with these goals, positioning the company to grow while contributing to Ontario’s economic strength and manufacturing leadership.
