Expedited production onshoring and new plant launch

Background

Our customer needed to onshore all of their manufacturing (100+ SKUs) and needed high-volume, US-based amplifier manufacturing for infrastructure purposes per the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Program (BEAD).

Approach

We provided full program management, supply chain, and logistics support, and did a brown field, new plant launch in Michigan.

Results

The operation in Canada and at the new high-volume production facility in Michigan was up and running within six months – a process that typically takes years. Launching the US operation included building a full local supply chain team.
